Our Story

Founded at Portside Wharf in Hamilton, Brisbane, in 2008 by Sam Abi, URBBANA is shaped by the meeting of European refinement, Mediterranean ease and the clarity of the Australian landscape.

Raised between cultures, the founder’s aesthetic was formed through an appreciation for European tailoring and artisanal heritage, the ease and warmth of Mediterranean life, and Australia’s sense of space, light and honesty. This intersection defines URBBANA’s design language: structured yet relaxed, refined yet distinctive.

Each garment is created with permanence in mind. Fabrics are selected for character and endurance; silhouettes are precise, never confined. Details are subtle, intentional and designed to reveal themselves over time.

Produced in limited quantities and distributed selectively, URBBANA values integrity over scale and longevity over trend.
